AYE YOOOOO — what’s good? It’s ya girl DJ Aspen, Coming from Atlanta, now holdin’ it down in Portland, Oregon with high-energy sets like no other. I’m a Black Queer DJ, producer, and on-air personality who's become the pulse behind the city’s biggest stages and vibrant nightlife vibes.
Making major moves around the city catching the attention of local media outlets like: KPTV | KGW | KOIN | KATU Portland Business Journal | The Oregonian | Here is Oregon | KBND Sports and more!
A few recent accomplishments include:
Being a Grammy U Mentee/Ambassador
Winning an In Good Hands award at the STAR AWARDS during PDX Hip Hop Week within my first year in Portland
Soundtracked major events, including the groundbreaking ceremony for the Thorns’ & future WNBA team’s newest Women’s Sports Performance Center in Beaverton, Oregon.
I’ve been blessed enough to rock incredible gigs with notable artists like Soulja Boy, Afroman, KottonMouth Kings, Kodak Black, Lil Wayne, and Trippie Redd. DJ for packed venues with over 20,000 people in attendance like the Portland Timbers/Thorns games, the grand opening of a new @nike store, holiday parties for @laikastudios and even became one of the official @trailblazers concourse DJs, From weddings to Bat Mitzvahs, to completing my first year residency @docmaries , to TV/news appearances to the OSU Beaver Bash, art museums to Pride block parties, even started teaching DJ classes to middle schoolers, and everything in between. Or your tuning in on my Youtube channel A Spend That Back and my exclusive on air iHeartRadio mix for Jam’n 107.5 that drops every Friday at 8PM and Saturday at 11PM. Every single event has been a stepping stone that’s brought me closer to where I am today.
