Aye yooo, what’s good y’all? I’m DJ Aspen—born in Atlanta, built my hustle in Portland, and now I’m out here spinnin’ my way through stadiums, block parties, art shows, and everything in between. I don’t just play music… I create a whole vibe.

I took a leap of faith, bet on myself, and went full-time with this DJ life—and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride. Over 135 gigs in one year, from rocking crowds of 20,000+ at Portland Timbers/Thorns games to holding down my first residency at Doc Marie’s, spinning for the Nike Pioneer Place grand opening, keeping the energy lit for Laika Studios holiday parties, and even becoming an official Trail Blazers concourse DJ.

I’ve shared stages with legends like Soulja Boy, Lil Wayne, Kodak Black, Afroman, and more—and still make time to teach the next generation by showing middle schoolers how to work the decks. You can catch me on the air too—Fridays and Saturdays on iHeartRadio Jam’n 107.5 and on my YouTube show, A Spen That Back.

From weddings to Pride block parties, from art museums to college bashes—if I’m there, best believe the energy’s gonna be up and the dance floor’s gonna be full.

Aye yooo — it’s ya girl DJ Aspen, and when Portland moves, I move with it. I don’t just play music at games — I set the mood, run the energy, and give the fans that soundtrack they remember. From loud stadium nights to in-the-round concourse vibes, I’ve been blessed to hold down game-day sound for some of the city’s biggest teams and moments.

As a Black woman in the DJ booth, these stages hit different. It’s not just about spinning tracks — it’s about representation, visibility, and proving that women who look like me can command arenas, stadiums, and city moments with the same fire and precision as anyone else. Every time I step behind those decks, I know young Black and Brown girls in the stands see what’s possible.

For me, it’s bigger than just being the DJ. It’s about breaking barriers, representing for those who don’t always see themselves in these spaces, and proving that a Black woman can not only stand on these stages but own them. Portland moves, and I move with it — one beat, one game, one monumental moment at a time.

Here’s a few recent accomplishments:

  • Official House DJ for the Portland Thorns, Timbers, and Trail Blazers, rocking arenas and keeping the city lit on game day

  • Set the vibe in a historical moment at the groundbreaking ceremony for the Thorns’ & future WNBA team’s Women’s Sports Performance Center, covered by top outlets like KPTV, KGW, KOIN, and KATU.

  • Brought the heat to events like Nike’s grand opening at Pioneer Place, OSU’s Beaver Bash, and Portland’s “Stay Sober Tour Soccer” event
